Country Club

With its majestic views and top notch service, The Country Club of St. Albans is regarded among the finest country clubs in the St. Louis-metropolitan area. And for good reason! With two 18-hole championship golf courses, practice facility, junior Olympic swimming pool, tennis facilities and a clubhouse offering casual and fine dining, The Country Club of St. Albans offers its members excellence in service and amenities.

Golf

The Country Club of St. Albans offers two distinctive 18-hole courses to appease all levels of players: Lewis & Clark and Tavern Creek. Course planners utilized the natural creeks, gentle slopes and dramatic terrain changes to craft the courses and add definition to each hole. Both courses are ranked among the Top 10 Courses in Missouri by Golf Digest.

Lewis and Clark

Created in honor of the legendary explorers, the 18-hole par 72 Lewis and Clark course is the creation of the highly acclaimed design team of Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish.

A traditional links course, Lewis and Clark has played host to an impressive array of tournaments since its opening in 1992: the Metro Amateur Golf Championships, the Missouri State Amateur Golf Championships, the prestigious Missouri Cup Matches, the St. Louis Men’s District Championship, the USGA Men’s State Team Championship and the USGA US Open Sectional Qualifier. Golf Digest rates Tavern Creek #7 among Missouri’s top courses.

Tavern Creek

Opened in 1997, the par 71 Tavern Creek course spans 160 exquisite acres. Designed by famed architects Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry, its picturesque, rock-lined creeks present dramatic holes around every bend with twelve holes uniquely involving play around creeks, streams or ponds. Golf Digest rates Tavern Creek #9 among Missouri’s top courses.

To remind golfers of the rich historical significance surrounding the grounds on which they play, five fully preserved Civil War-era graves are nestled throughout the course.

Poolside

The Country Club of St. Albans junior Olympic-sized pool is located adjacent to the clubhouse and offers aquatic fun Memorial Day – Labor Day. The pool kitchen offers a luncheon menu for adults and children alike, while the Tiki bar offers adult beverages throughout the season.

The Country Club of St. Albans aquatics programs are an exceptional offering. Members and their children have an opportunity to learn the basics of swimming, improve swimming technique and/or participate competitively on the swim team which competes in the West County Swimming Conference league.

Beginners or advanced, and everything in between, the CCSA pool staff will ensure your summer is full of aquatic experiences and fun!

The pool staff is a highly qualified group of professionals providing members, their families and guests a quality experience. Each staff member is hand-selected for their life guarding capabilities, supervisory skills, and their appreciation for member service. Most importantly, it is their job to provide a tremendous summer experience and to hold the safety of all members and their guests at the top of their priorities.

Tennis

The Country Club of St. Albans is fortunate to have four professional outside courts available for our members. No matter your skill level, the club’s tennis pro, Cliff Reuter, makes certain all programs are full of enthusiasm, competent instruction, and most importantly… fun! Lessons and clinics are offered for all ages and genders; private lessons are also available.
